Induction hardening mainly aims to change the hardness of the metal materials through the heat treatment to workpieces, is the use of electromagnetic induction in the workpiece to produce eddy current and the workpiece to heat. The heated workpiece is quickly cooled with oil or water. This process is called quenching. The quenched metal undergoes a martensitic transformation, which increases the hardness and brittleness of the part. The use of induction hardening to selectively harden the area of a part or component without affecting the overall performance of the component.
Lihua CNC high-frequency quenching equipment adopts CNC/PLC/Variable frequency speed regulation system to implement workpiece positioning&scaning, and PLC connects to a generator to implement all automatic production.
Advantages of Induction Quenching/Hardening
Heating on the surface, fast heating speed, high heating efficiency.
Small deformation as it isn't heating integrally.
Short heating time, less surface oxidation decarburization
High surface hardness, small notch sensitivity, Impact toughness, fatigue strength and wear resistance are greatly improved. It is beneficial to realize the potential of materials, save material consumption, and improve the service life of spare parts
Easy operation, good working conditions
It is convenient for mechanization and automation
